CAN I GET A “HELL YEAH”?! (more here)

Gonna have to buy myself some more points, dammit.

Today’s Rockman 10 site update, more info on ZERO Collection.

UPDATE 30/1/10 20:14
Just noticed that the price for ZERO Collection on the main site has gone back up to 4190y now, compared to what I’ve previously said. Read More »

The christmas break kinda screwed up my search for this, I never got to it till now.
Haven’t seen THQ for a while (at least since 2005/06, last I remember), taking the helm back from Red Ant Enterprises this time around. Also, even though it says Xbox, the classification will extend for PS3 and Wii versions.

Here.
This is what I currently see.

This is what I wrote.

You go and propose an armada of characters which *could* appear in Project Needlemouse and cross some off each day, but what I don’t like is that you pretty much trolled your majority demographic by showing and crossing out everyone except Sonic. What’s worse is Sonic was definitely going to be the survivor if he was in a group of side characters, there’s no Tails or Knuckles listed, so what about them?
Shame on you, SEGA.

Did I do something wrong?

OH HELL YEAH

Gonna buy this so badly, even more so that it releases around my birthday. Although, why has the price on the site gone from yesterday’s 4190y to 3390y today?
Well, it looks sound enough to be good, but I hope they put in all those crazy e-Reader card effects as unlockables.

Got a replacement Wii not too long ago, ya hear?

So I was trying to run my Wii though the internet using my Dad’s computer [and it's HSUPA usb-interface modem] using Privoxy, which I hadn’t gotten to work before… lo-and-behold, it works now, just… slow. I’d already put homebrew and stuff on this new Wii, and it was System Menu 4.0e, so I used Wad Manager to update IOS61 and Shop Channel. Getting into Shop Channel… I check my downloaded titles list, and all my old stuff is there. I’m so goddamn relieved, so I hastily redownloaded everything, plus the demo for Pokemon Rumble (o point cost~).

*HEADS BACK INTO MEGAMAN 9*

http://megaman.capcom.com/10/

Flicking through the site, I got to the Overview page and recognised that background straight away. Some further reading up about it in MegaPhilX’s deviantArt, and they also used other parts of his project. Not to mention this scattered about in an official Capcom newsletter yesterday. At least the Japanese site is using graphics not affiliated to any existing fanprojects. Looking at what’s happened here, there’s a possibility that MegaPhilX could be treated like dirt if he can’t resolve this with Capcom. Then again, there are already two official bosses out which aren’t on that header in the newsletter, so Capcom could be up for some embarrasing misadvertising claims.

Nigoli showed me this just now…

Spanning on from Shooting Star’s WaveMaster’s tournaments and going back to the old EXE NetBattle tournaments, we have Survival Battle NEO.  The divisions are in Junior (1st~4th grades elementary) and Senior (5th grade elementary to 3rd grade of middle school) sections, the rulesets are exactly the same; the Open division seen in the WaveMasters tourneys has vanished, so this is mainly for kids. For grabs are the two Data Distributions for Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star: Burai B and Forte F. Note that these were the ones hacked just after the game’s release, so be careful if you go while having them in your game before recieving the real distribution.

Going back to the rules and regulations:

  • The Burai and Forte distributions are acceptable in the tourney
  • Yukashita (DropDown), Tenjouura (PopUp) and IronBody chips are barred from play
  • Folders cannot be changed after you start your first match (this has been a staple rule for all previous tournaments)
  • Program Advances have no restrictions

Something big to note, is the fact that entrants have to own the original or Lite DS models to play; those with DSi/DSi_LL models will not be allowed to borrow a different unit. This is because of specialised equipment for the GBA slot, which they use for communication in tournaments.

Also, if you check out the goods section, WHF-goers have the opportunity to buy the Rockman EXE Official Complete Works book for 2100yen.
